It is said that This Qawwali was sung by Amir Khushro for the first time in the 13th century. After then the modification is done by the other poets. Poet Bullen Shah did the major modification in the lyrics of Qawwali in the 18th century. Bullen Shah completely modifies this Qawwali from original Qawwali of Amir Khushro. He gave different look to this Qawwali. He gave a different tint of Sindhi culture.

The Dargah is located in the Shehwan Sharif of district Jamshoro in Pakistan country.
After the Bullen Shah, it was composed by Aashiq Hussain followed by Noor Jahan song, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Roona Laila Parveen Rangeeli, Abida Parveen and Sabri brothers.
